This book has articles
written by different authors who seek to study, from different points of
view, the characteristics found in Latin American architecture. The texts
are grouped in three chapters, "The City and its Territory", "Architecture",
and "Architecture and its Relations". We would like to highlight
the articles written by the editor himself Roberto Sagre, and the articles
written by the Mexican contributors Max Cetto, Ramón Vargas Salguero
and Rafael López Rangel. We should state that the articles refer
to architecture in Latin America in general without detailing architecture
in Mexico and cover the current problems this discipline is having more
as an analysis and not so much a historic review.
